Hey Seniors, it’s not too late to apply for our 2015 Smile Scholarship. The deadline is rapidly approaching on April 1st. We’ve already had an amazing response from graduating seniors and we simply want to make sure everyone who wants to apply has the chance. So if you are a graduating high school senior and want to apply, you have about two weeks to get it done. Good luck and congratulations!

For the 9th year now, Hodges Orthodontics will offer $1000 scholarships to graduating Seniors that submit an application including an essay about “What Makes Me Smile“.
Every day, we are blessed at Hodges Orthodontics by the support of all of our students and their parents. These scholarships allow us to give a small thank you back to them as we support their goals and dreams.
Through the years, we’ve received hundreds of applications. These essays have made us smile as we read about each student’s life, what makes them happy, what goals they have, and what experiences have shaped them. I am impressed every year at how many choose to take the time to write the essay and complete the application. When the deadline arrives, it’s always tough to choose the ‘best‘ applicant, but we do our best to pick a few stand-out essays.
Once the applications hit our office, we make it as anonymous as possible in order to give everyone an unbiased opportunity. Each year we receive more and more applicants making the selection more and more difficult. We are looking for creativity and thoughtfulness.
Please spread the word to any Seniors(…or parents!) you know that may want a little help with college tuition. The scholarship is open to graduating Seniors, not necessarily from Tupelo or even a former patient of ours. We are proud to have celebrated through the years in many different high schools throughout the area!
