To all new patients,
To All Invisalign and Clear Aligner Patients:
We are excited to announce that we will be seeing all of our wonderful patients very soon!!
In coordination with the recommendations from the Mississippi Dental Board, approved by Governor Reeves, and in consideration of the safety of our patients and staff, we have made the decision to gradually resume seeing patients beginning next week.
We are currently finalizing changes to our appointment schedule, and you will be receiving a notification by the end of this week (May 2) of your updated appointment date and time.
Please note that any previously scheduled appointment is subject to change as we do our best to rearrange with safety as our first priority.
Please note two IMPORTANT changes:
You will receive a “wellness survey” that must be completed within 24 hours of your appointment. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to see you if this has not been completed. But rest assured this is super easy to fill out with a quick list of “yes/no” questions. You will receive a text message link to this survey prior to your appointment, and you can complete it from your mobile device.
One of the most noticeable changes we will make is that we will not have any persons in our waiting room/reception area. This regulation will support social distancing and help to keep the number of people in the office to a minimum. Once again, we have a plan for this. One hour before your appointment time, you will receive a text message instructing you to check-in from your vehicle when you arrive (just text “HERE”). We will reply with instructions when we are ready to see you. If the patient is a minor, one person is allowed with them, but if your child is totally comfortable hanging out with us, we would prefer that they come in alone.
Please understand that these new steps are new steps for us as well, and things may move a bit slower at first. We will work hard to see you as soon as we can, but these changes will limit how many people we can see and which procedures are done at which time. We have to take all of this into consideration, while keeping your safety and our quality of care at the top of our list.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us! Be safe and see you soon!!
P.S. We are encouraging any new patient to submit a Virtual Consult to begin the process of starting their treatment ahead of time. This Virtual Consult will allow Dr. Hodges to review your case and determine if you are ready to begin treatment, or if we need further examination. This will allow you to take care of those first steps towards beginning your treatment. Here is the link for a new patient Virtual Consult: VIRTUAL CONSULT.
To say the least, these are unusual times. We have tried to make decisions that have the best interest of our patients, our team, and our community at heart. We sincerely apologize for any extra inconvenience that this poses. We continue to be available for emergency situations that need immediate attention. Thank you for your understanding!
