At Hodges Orthodontics, we just finished the month of October celebrating our twenty year anniversary. How time flies!!! We had great food, fellowship, prizes, treats, and trips. It was a great time to reflect on the blessings that we have received through our work in our community, and I can only think how fitting it is that we move from this celebration right into the season of Thanksgiving.
Reflecting on where we started and where we have come has only strengthened our feeling of thankfulness.
I am thankful for those that believed in us when we opened our doors 20 years ago.
I am thankful for all the great people that have worked for Hodges Orthodontics, and thankful for the ones that continue to put up with me every day.
I am thankful for the smiles that we’ve shared with great patients.
I am thankful for the train that crossed by our office front door every hour for our first five years, and thankful for those that developed Fairpark for us have a new home … right next to another train.
I am thankful for how old it makes me feel to watch our patient families grow up.
I am thankful for a community that supports us and a community that I’m proud to support.
I am thankful for my wife – my first employee and my first retiree.
I am thankful for my family at home and my family at work and what we accomplish together. They inspire me to be better.
I am most thankful for the Lord putting me where I’’m supposed to be.
May your Thanksgiving be filled with reminders of all the great people, great memories, and great gifts that we have all received.
